The Creative Native Gallery Artist Bio Header

Michele Edsall

I am a self-taught full time artist and stay at home Mom of three.
Born and raised is Riverview, Florida.

I have been married to the same great guy for 24 years.
I would say we are "country" people...we live

in a rural neighborhood and yes, in a trailer...doublewide...manufactured home...whatever you call it...it's ours and it's what we can afford...thank God in this horrible enonomy we have a low mortgage payment! So "trailer trash" is what I like to call my mixed media art....if you were wondering what my inspiration may be.

Our children are 18, 9, and 7 years old and i'm proud to say that our oldest (daughter) just graduated with honors from high school and is heading for collage in the Fall! Our two youngest (sons) are 4-H members and show pigs at the county and state fairs.

I am so grateful to be at home doing something that I love and being here for my children.

I grew up always in church, I was baptized as an infant in the Catholic Church, then Mom took us to church for the most part to a Southern Baptist Church. I attended a private Independant Baptist School for three years, I attended a Episcopal Church with my Grandmother, and was a member of a Pentecostal Church for a while too.

WOW! I have to say I loved all my religions... so I love religious art, and love creating it too!Angels, Nuns, Saints are my favorite subjects.
